Data Protection
Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. Here's how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, authentication information, and account settings. Firebase Authentication processes your sign-in credentials; ClickCentric does not receive or store your password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes payment information and we store billing identifiers and subscription status, but not full card details.
When you use our tools, we process the prompts, keywords, domains, URLs, source-page content, generated content, scan results, and usage data needed to provide them. If you connect Google Search Console, we store authorization tokens and retrieve the selected property's search-performance data. If you connect WordPress, we store the site URL, username, and application-password authorization credential needed to test the connection and publish content.
We also collect service and security data such as features used, request timing, device/browser information, and limited operational logs. Cookies and similar technologies maintain your session and protect and improve the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
⢠Provide and maintain your ClickCentric SEO account and services
⢠Process subscriptions, payments, and credit top-ups
⢠Personalise your dashboard experience and recommendations
⢠Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts)
⢠Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our platform
⢠Respond to support requests and communicate product updates
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose information to service providers only as needed for the feature you use:
⢠Stripe ā payment processing and subscription administration
⢠Firebase / Google Cloud ā authentication, database, storage, and hosting
⢠OpenAI ā AI-assisted generation and analysis
⢠OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to ā AI-visibility and related model analysis
⢠DataForSEO ā keyword, ranking, location, and search-data services
⢠Google APIs ā Search Console data when you authorize a connection
⢠Your connected WordPress site ā connection testing and content publishing you request
⢠Analytics providers ā service measurement where enabled
These providers may process prompts, source content, domains, keywords, or technical identifiers needed to perform the request. We may also disclose information when required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect legal rights.
Data Retention & Security
We retain account, project, scan, and generated-content data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Connected-service credentials are kept until you disconnect the service, delete the related project or account, or the credential is revoked. Deleting a project removes its project data and project-scoped connection credentials.
For account-wide deletion or a portable copy of your data, contact us at the address below. After a verified deletion request, we remove or de-identify active-service data unless retention is required for legal, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security purposes. Limited records may remain temporarily in logs and backups until they age out under operational schedules. Third-party providers may retain data under their own terms and legal obligations.
We use measures including TLS in transit, access controls, restricted server-only credential stores, and service monitoring. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you may have the right to:
⢠Access ā Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
⢠Rectification ā Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
⢠Erasure ā Request deletion of your personal data
⢠Portability ā Receive applicable data in a machine-readable format
⢠Objection ā Object to certain processing
⢠Restriction ā Request that we limit certain processing
⢠Withdraw consent ā Withdraw consent where processing relies on it
You can delete an individual project from project settings. To request account-wide access, export, correction, or deletion, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
